By Request: Impossible Princess is Kylie Minogue's sixth studio album. It was released in 1997 and all twelve tracks were co-written by Kylie. From Impossible Princess four singles were released including Cowboy Style, Some Kind of Bliss, Did It Again and Breathe. Also Too Far was released in the UK as a promotional single only. Impossible Princess wasn't as successful as Minogue's previous albums but still managed to chart at #4 in Australia, and at #10 in the UK.
Kylie's third studio album, "Rhythm of Love". Released in November 1990 prceded by the smash hits "Better The Devil You Know" and "Step Back In Time" the album became Kylie's step forward to become the Kylie that she is now, taking control over her image and sound she went for a more 'adult' route. Further singles, "What Do I Have To Do?" and "Shocked" also became top ten hits and Minogue became the first artist to have her first 13 singles reaching the top ten consecutively in the United Kingdom. The album also became a hit in her native Australia but failed to make an impact in other major markets only selling over a million copies worldwide.
