Confessions On a Dance Floor is Madonna's tenth studio album released in November 2005. Four singles were lifted from Confessions On a Dance Floor including: Hung Up, Sorry, Get Together and Jump. The album peaked at #1 in over twenty-nine countries, but only managed to peak at #5 in New Zealand. The album ended up selling 15,000 copies and certifying Platinum.

Madonna's second studio album, "Like A Virgin". Her real breakthrough album and the one made Madonna a global superstar. Released in November 1984 preceded by the smash hit, the title track, "Like A Virgin" which became Madonna's very first number-one hit the album reached number one in United States, Germany, the Unnited Kingdom and Italy and became a top ten hit elsewhere. Further singles also became massive hits, including "Material Girl" which so far has become one of Madonna's most popular nicknames with the press.
